    Robots That Vacuum and Mop

Robots that vacuum and mop offer the convenience of removing dry debris (dust dirt) and wet messes (spills and stains) in one time without having to swap out devices. They can also help save storage space compared to having two separate units, especially in smaller living spaces.

A good combination bot should be able to navigate well and have excellent obstacles avoidance. Look for models that automatically empty their bins and refill their water tank and machine-wash their mopping pads using the dock that is specifically designed for them.

    1. Eufy S1 Pro

It has a lot to offer for its affordable price, and it’s among the easiest robots we’ve tested to install. Unpacking is easy and the quick-start guide gets you running in no time. It comes with an entire dust bag, water tank and a hard floor.

The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can mop and vacuum well. The mops spin at fast speeds and can apply 2.2 pounds (1kg) of force, which makes short work of pet hair, dirt, and dried sticky spills. The vacuum cleaner has four power settings, a variety of brushes and attachments, and an intuitive app that lets you choose the kind of cleaning you’d like to do for each room.

For instance, you can choose to have the robot take care of a thorough clean-up in the living and kitchen but go easy on the spare bedroom. The S1 Pro’s front collision sensors and smart navigation tech are excellent too as the robot is capable of detecting tiny obstacles that other models struggle with. The only problem is that the robot tends to crash into walls and objects at full speed. However an inspection of the cleaning history on the app will show you exactly what the robot done, where it is moving, and what obstacles he has run into or avoided.

The docking station has an LCD display that displays when maintenance is needed like emptying the debris and washing the dirty water tank. It’s also able to mix detergent automatically into the water tank, with a 600ml bottle of Eufy’s own solution.

Both the S1 Pro vacuum and mop have plenty of run-time, with the mop capable of running for 184 minutes in Quiet mode and the vacuum able to do 136 minutes in normal mode before needing to recharge or return to the base to replenish. And you can see the full cleaning details in the app, which is clearly laid out and easily understood, though we would have liked to be able distinguish between a mop only vacuum and mop clean, when looking at a clean area in the history of cleaning.

    2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the most recent version of the company’s most popular robot mop and vacuum. This year’s model has a double agitator built into its mopping pad. This improves the cleaning capabilities of carpets with this model. The S8 Pro Ultra also has enhanced suction power, which allows it to remove small hairs and other particles that other robotic cleaners could be unable to pick up.

The Roborock model, just like the other two models I tested, has infrared and reactive 3D obstacle avoidance technology to help it get around obstacles like walls, furniture, and other obstacles. However, the S8 Pro Ultra takes things an extra step by having a dual camera that can detect objects and determine whether they are a wall or another surface. It then can alter its direction automatically and clean around the objects without stumbling.

It’s the most expensive robot I’ve ever tested and it comes with the most features. Its sleek, angular style is striking and has only three physical buttons that include the power button that also resumes cleaning; a mop-only switch that doubles as a child lock; and a home button to bring the robot back to its dock. The hinged lid can be opened to reveal a 350ml dustbin and 200ml water tank. The water tank automatically emptys and the bin fills up automatically.

The only downside I found in this model was the VibraRise mop pads mount isn’t movable. While you can replace the mopping cloth (if necessary) but it’s a challenge to take off the mount itself to wash manually. I’ve found any plush carpet that the robot crosses will come into contact with the rough Velcro like fastener system on the mount, which can cause abrasions.

The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a range of smart features that include support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. The Roborock app allows you to manage and configure these advanced features. It also has maps and advanced mopping options. The app allows you to schedule cleanings, monitor the battery life and maintain your components. However, you’ll need to jump through a few hoops to enable voice control with this model which is unfortunate considering the quality of its performance.

    3. Dreame X40

The Dreame X40 is an industry-leading robot vacuum and mop equipped with exceptional suction power, advanced mowing capabilities, and ingenuity features. Its clever design permits personalized and efficient cleaning, while also saving time.

The X40 robot vacuum cleaner is the first one to provide 12,000 Pascals cleaning power. It is among the most powerful options available. This powerful vacuum can clean up pet hair, crumbs and other dry mess. It has a mop of excellent quality that can clean hard floors without using pads. The X40 is also extremely quiet while in use and only occasionally bursting during modes changes or self-maintenance.

The X40 also has an additional side brush that can be extended and lifted. This allows it to reach into corners that are difficult to reach and clean furniture with curved edges like table and chair legs. It also allows the robot to access furniture that is low-profile making it an ideal option for smaller apartments and condos with limited space. The side brush automatically tilts down when detecting wet spots, which is a nice touch that helps the X40 avoid damaging floors with the frequent back-and-forth movement.

Contrary to other robots, which are limited to one task, the X40 can mop and vacuum at the same time. robot vacuum uk can be programmed to mop only the hard floors and not skip carpeted areas or reverse the process. It can be controlled using the Dreame app or by using Alexa, Siri, and Google Home to ensure a smooth voice-controlled operation.

The app is easy to use and understand The X40 is equipped with many clever features that are simple to set up. Users can program the X40 to clean at specific times. They can also adjust suction power, switch modes, view maps and floor plans, and manage mopping setting. The X40 will also keep track of its progress and notify you when it is finished.

The X40 is easy to keep clean and has many features which make it a good option for busy families. The docking station can automatically empty the dustbin and wash the mop pads, then refill them with fresh cleaning solution and water. It also can detect when the mop pad is filled and notify you before it overflows, reducing the need for manual maintenance.

    4. L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra robot is one of the most expensive models available on the market. It does have several features that make it stand out. The mops are equipped with a new feature called Smart DuoScrub. It utilizes two mops that are high-speed to clean floors more thoroughly than the traditional method, and it comes with a high maximum suction power of 7,000Pa. This is higher than Roborock S8 Pro Ultra and Ecovacs Deebots T20 Omni. It can also vacuum up pet hair, dirt particles and pick up spills and dirt-stained spots.

The mop mops are cleaned and dried in the base station each time they are used. This is a great feature as it keeps mould and unpleasant odours from accumulating in storage. It also makes the mop system more efficient. It’s a system that we’ve yet to see on other robot vacuum and mop models, and it could be a useful way of keeping your home cleaner for longer.

There are many options, including the option to schedule cleanings and adjust preferences. They can be set through the app or there are buttons that can be found on the unit itself. helpful site is easy to use and provides a variety of options for customizing the cleaning process, and there are numerous functions that other robots don’t include, such as the Clean Genius mode that automatically increases suction power when it detects dust particles, instead of relying on the manual setting.

The L20 Ultra has a stylish design with a white-and-metallic finish that looks elegant and elegant. It’s a little heavier than the other two-in-one robots in this list – at around 4kg however it’s not overly heavy, and it feels robust and well built. Mopping is also well-designed and the double-rotating mop is great for hard floors and in corners. They can even reach down to 2mm of baseboards due to the MopExtend feature, which is a nice feature.
