Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops are getting more powerful. They pass our tests on cleaning and can handle different floors. Look for models that allow you to select from multiple modes, use their charging docks to self-empty and clean up stairs.

Many of the best models work with your smartphone. Find an app that lets you save schedules, maps and choose cleaning modes.

    1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

Eufy’s gunmetal-and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuum and mop combos on the market. best automatic vacuum uses lidar for navigation, creating maps of rooms and floors.

When I tried the S1 It was quick to locate our downstairs, which has linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, as well as carpeting of medium-pile as well as a large area rug. It was able to drive close to walls without hitting them, and was able to cross raised room thresholds with no problem, although it sometimes struggled to get down the stairs in one move. The S1 also did a fantastic job cleaning hard floors, with its mop driving smoothly on its flat side against the floor, and then lifting its own weight when it reaches carpet or carpet.

The docking station on the S1 automatically empties its dust bin and refills its onboard water tank with clean, ozonated water prior to every mopping session. The dock adds a deep-cleaning solution for the water. The S1’s water tank holds enough for about 12 cleaning sessions before it needs to be cleaned, although it will differ based the amount you use the mop.

Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires regular maintenance to ensure it is operating efficiently. You’ll need to periodically rinse out the tank that has been contaminated to prevent it from becoming clogged. You’ll also need to clean the swivel wheel and sensors regularly to prevent them from getting blocked by dust or dirt. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

    2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

This all-in-one robot vacuum and mop combo from Ecovacs is a great choice to meet your cleaning needs. The robot vacuum is rated at 8700Pa of suction and comes with many innovative features, such as full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning that eliminates obstacles and cleans furniture. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive, with rotating mops that actually lift and scrub the floor instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned and dried in the base station when needed.

This robot combo has an easy interface that guides you through the process. It also includes a hand vacuum which can be used to clean those hard-to reach areas that the robot can’t reach. There are also two water tanks which are automatically filled or empty. It has a variety of settings that can be used to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is an excellent vacuum cleaner. It has a strong suction that is able to easily remove dirt and other debris that other robots have trouble with. Its navigation capabilities are decent, but it can get stuck on small mats and rugs in my home (which you can alleviate by defining virtual boundaries in the app). The mopping capabilities are quite impressive, and comes with a pair of spinning mops that actually lift and scrub the floors instead of simply dragging the pad over it. The mops can also be cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station whenever needed. Mops can also be replenished at the top of the station when they are required.

    3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame launched the high-end X30 Ultra earlier this year however their latest flagship robot mop and vacuum comes with more impressive features. It has outstanding cleaning performance and hands-free maintenance, making it a clear contender for our best mop and vacuum robots. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a long side brush will give you an efficient, customized clean.

The X40 Ultra vacuums well, removing both fine and large debris. It works equally well on carpets and hard floors. It also cleaned our tests’ most soiled areas efficiently, while keeping pet hairs from getting caught in knots and other messes. The sweeping capabilities are augmented by a side brush that automatically swings out to tackle hard-to-reach corners, and an extendable mop pad that is placed along baseboards.

Its navigation system is nimble it can navigate through narrow spaces and negotiating stairways without stepping back. It can move from one room to the next without having to reverse direction. This is a great feature for homes that have multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is not as advanced than some competitors however, and tends to leave a wide distance over obstacles, which can result in missed spots.

Its app has a streamlined user interface that is designed to be user-friendly for both new and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleanings, alter the suction power and mopping settings and view 3D and 2D maps, and more. It can be operated via the app, Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri and allows you to monitor its progress from anywhere. You can also use the X40 Ultra’s camera remotely for live video surveillance. You’ll require a reliable Wi-Fi connection to operate it via the app and external controls.

    4. Roomba Q5 pro

A robot vacuum does a great job of picking up debris and dirt but it’s not always able to be able to reach every bit of dust. This is why it’s crucial to use your regular vacuum at least once every week, particularly to remove dust from corners, on shelves, and in the corners of your couch. Roborock’s Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot designed to accomplish exactly that. It is simple to connect it to your home Wi-Fi network and works with Alexa or Apple Siri.

The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, such as the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it’s less expensive because it does not have mopping capabilities and comes with a plastic body.

Although it’s no longer able to clean your floors, the Q5 still offers the best mopping and vacuum performance we’ve seen from a robotic in this price range. It has a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an automatic-empty system so you don’t need to empty the bin manually each time. It comes with a smart app which allows you to schedule cleaning times and set the floor type. It also features an automatic water tank filling and washing system that is hands-free.

The mops also stand out with its 2700Pa capacity to take on pet hair and dirt on carpets as well as hard floors. The Q5 was one of the few robots that we tested did not show a problem with high-pile area rugs and carpets. However, it did not remove kitty-poop or cable tangles. This isn’t too surprising, since it does NOT include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance.

    5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is one of the most quiet robovacs that we have tested, it also uses a unique system to map your home, which will allow it to enter corners and tight spaces that other vacuums are unable to reach. It also has a larger bin, so you don’t have to empty it as frequently. Additionally, it has washable filters, which reduces the cost of using the device. The robot is able to detect carpets, and boost suction if needed. You can also mark areas you want to be able to keep from using the app.
