    The side panel can be lowered on its own however it isn’t recommended as this increases the risk of your baby falling out of the cot. The safety locking system guarantees that the side panel will remain in place if it’s attached correctly to the parent’s mattress. This feature is great to have peace of mind when you are breastfeeding and need frequent feedings at night.
